16/06/2006 10:15 - THE ALIENCE IS THE ANEMY ! - Aiely

Almost seven months later...

We are now the Night Stalker guild on Shadow moon server (english/pvp). Why that so great and original name ? No it's not because Petitpas created the guild, but because Astartee STOLE it ! He was invited in that guild while starting his 847th warrior and the guy who invited him made him leader and disbanded from guild...

So Asta deguilded everyone else, invited us and its now OUR guild :p

We have read the guild rule set by the former guildleader, we decided it was very good so we kept it :

Everything is going fine, we are (very) slowly leveling while watching football on TV :p Most levels are still arround 20...

As you can see, its a normal guild with normal thing happening and normal peoples..

("I am not fleeing but pulling..")

(The guild chat use to be in english despite that particular quote)

  02/09/2005 15:52 - Oops ! - Aiely

Someone stepped on this poor mob by mistake..

We entered MC, cleaned to Gehennas... saw him for the first time... and killed him after two tries.

Great job everyone !

Grats Wunderwaffe on Lawbringer Gauntlets and Mikasa on Giantstalker's Boots.

'nuff said~

  28/07/2005 13:41 - LUCIFRON DOWN - Astartee

Yes !!! "Vindi" down !

Yesterday's raid was really good : except for a messy repop, we walked through the first part like in a park walk.
Everyone that have been in a Molten Core raid, knows that it is HARD.

Lucifron's death is an important one. We made progresses and we can now start thinking seriously about killing Onyxia and co. and about going deeper into Molten Core.

Thanks and congratulations to the Alliance of The Danish Vikings and Blood and Guts as well as our invites !

20/07/2005 12:08 - We are ubers and all uber guilds quote stuff because their members are uber so they say uber things that deserves to be quoted. - Aiely

Let's start by two roll lessons. For a change a roll that Mettini (or letto) didn't win.. well done Dei :p :

This one gives a good idea of what were 60 lvl trying to stuff myself with Astartee rolling against me :

No Rit, its not possible :p

Another one bite the dust

No comment needed on thoses.

And finally... yes Astartee think because Mettini is in holydays he can say anything in guildchat... But I am watching... gnihihihihi !

12/07/2005 12:51 - This summer, we go in Molten Core for holydays - Aiely

This is probably the more interesting screenshot seen on any guild site about a raid, ever.

Ok, may be not ever.

But interesting it is to see we are near 35 with only 14 bags.

We start slowly to throw away our EQ raid conceptions, and open our raids to peoples who are not from our guilds alliance.

So actually this alliance is made of Roses of Dawn, Jester of Azeroth (also an ex-EQ guild) and Blood and Guts, and... invites.

Yes, its way easier to send tells to random key_class_01 2 minutes before raid start than to plan a raid 10 days before and find ourselves with only 2 key_class_01 when you usually need 5.

So we met more cool peoples that did a great job allowing us all to go further in Molten Core than we never did.

The big ugly thing is a gnome with a size complex, or something.

At this point we are in Lucifron's cave and we are ready to pull him. This screenshot has been taken a few minutes after a server reboot. (We are in Molten Core, its late already, we are near a named, the server reboot... Our usual luck.)

So we decided to kill Lucifron NEXT TIME, this time was too early, he was a bit too young and didn't get big enough to be worth something for our cookers... something like that.

Ah, on the way we get our first drops...

  25/06/2005 15:27 - Runs Raids and stuff - Aiely

Thoses few weeks made us reach the limit of wow as a guild of 25 peoples.

Of course we didn't achieve everything that is possible to do with one group, but the run contents (Stratholme, Scholomance, Lower BRS, even Upper BRS) is getting old.

Following an Astartee's idea we are starting again the big adventure meeting and playing with another guild is.

Roses of Dawns and Blood and Guts (Guts and Roses $) had their first test raid yesterday on Lord Kazzak. As you probably know, this is not the kind of opponent who is beaten at first try. So we respected this, and didn't kill him (but learned a lot).

It was a very good raid, whatever happened during it, we all clearly agreed this alliance goes in the right direction. Wait and see, but we have met people with a play style who matches ours.

Ah yes we killed something, not very big at all but that was our first kill together, so a screenshot was required !

  17/04/2005 15:03 - Raids ! - Aiely

We have started to "raid" stuff together.

Our first move has been to West Plagueland, trying to do the last part of the "Battle of Darrowshire" quest. Of course its not a raid quest, but that was an occasion to make a guild meeting.

Trying this battle with 12 peoples including 2 lvl 60 but as well several 30ish was fun, but unsuccessfull. At third try we were close to success, but our blinking (Online... LD... Online... LD... etc.) main tank was missing.

This is a screenshot where you can't see much, but this is all I have.

Ah yes, I have moved Grandpas to the top of the screen because he was very far from action (doing nothing special) and would have made this screenshot too wide for the news.

After this nice meeting, a week passed. During this week more people dinged 60, a lot more dinged 55 or more.

We did a second raid, this time with a little level restriction (50+) to Blackrock Depths (BRD).

Another screenshot wihout much info on it, just look at it thinking we all died horribly 3 sec later, learning the hard way lvl 50 people in Lyceum (big room full of lvl 55 mobs respawning super fast) was not a good idea at all because of the aggro range :p

But we (I) are stupborn, so a few days after, we went for a second BRD run, still with a lvl 49 in team (final quest is lvl 59 there). Even with 2 braves warlocks to cover the ae damage needed, we wiped once in Lyceum again. Then recovered and made it through the Lyceum with a perfect team work.

Final part of trip was flawless, here we are near the emperor throne. (Please take a second to look at Astartee as she is mostly LD or deads on screenshots usually :D)

Finally, yesterday we decided to try Blackrock Spires (BRS). At 20h30, 8 bags lvl 56+ entered the instance.

At 20h38 we wiped on a strange aggro, probably Amadiel's pet who was "only" lvl 56.

At 20h48 we wiped on a strange aggro, caused by the fact we are used to the non aggro Z axis in EQ .. we aggroed through a hole in the floor $

At 01h15 We took a screenshot :

(notice the Astartee absence, she went LD 1/2 sec after the donjon boss was down, just before we called the loot $)

This mini-raid was a demonstration of what perfect team job can be done in this game. It was fun, fast and furious. And we still learned a lot of little things that will be priceless for biggers raids coming.

Of course we didn't have much luck on drops, only a few set pieces, no interesting greens, crappiest blues possibles etc.

Oh, I almost forgot, we are now keyed for Upper Blackrock Spires (1 key per raid is enough), which is a real raid zone :D
